My education, training and work experiences during the past ten years have  focused on developing skills in working therapeutically with children,  adolescents and families. I have provided play therapy, indiviudal therapy  with childen, adolescents and families and family therapy. My work has  included addressing chidren's behavioral and emotional problems, adolescents who have been involved with the legal system and families who are struggling with issues that are disrupting their home life.

In addition to providing therapy, I also have a strong background in providing psychometric testing and assessment for children and adults which has included ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, depression, anxiety, and adjustment problems. I have also conducted parenting assessments for the family court.

I have been influenced by many theories including developmental, family systems, narrative, solution-focused, play therapy models in addition to cognitive-behavioral techniques. My approach to working with children and families is determined by individual needs and presenting issues. My work is collaborative and I invite involvement from parents or other family members as appropriate. My work often involved also working with schools, CYFS and other professionals in the community.
