The Starfish team are crew of salty clinicians with decades of experience on the high seas of child, youth and adult psychological medicine. We hold clinics on Waiheke Island, Ponsonby Road Auckland and in Whangarei in the North. WHAT WE DO.
Starfish clinicians carry out assessment, diagnosis, treatment, therapy and training in the range of psychological medicine including the following:
REFERRALS
We accept referrals from; GPs, paediatricians and other professionals, schools, colleges, the courts, NGOs, families and by direct referral. They can be made to the clinic or to a named clinician by fax, phone, E mail or directly from this site.
BrightMind Labs is a social venture which exists to improve the lives of children with mental health issues. They are all about providing access to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for children who may not have access to quality face-to-face therapy by fusing CBT with immersive gaming principles.

Starfish Clinic is an independent service and we have to charge for our services. But we also like to give some of this back to some of our favourite causes.
Starfish donates to The Jonah Project and we would like you to know that a little bit of every fee we charge goes toward rescuing Whales, Dolphins and other marine mammals around New Zealand.
We think that kids will like the idea that when they come to Starfish they will be helping to rescue these creatures when they beach themselves around our shores.
Dr Kev is also a marine rescue medic and is on call for strandings. Starfish also sponsors the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and have increased our sponsorship every year since 2005.
